Two men on a journey through the cosmos have emerged from infinity with a new dancefloor experience they call "Calo Disco". These men, indie/electronic wizard George Cochrane (San Francisco, California) and disco mastermind Christopher Vick (Los Angeles, California), are collectively known as "Weatherhouse".

Formed almost at random in late 2010 (during what was to be a weekend of hiking through the Los Angeles wilderness with softly strummed guitars), Weatherhouse just sort of winked into existence, the logical extension of its creators.

E Pluribus Calo Disco was recorded in Chris' living room in LA, and George's bedroom in San Francisco. Each of them commuted north or south frequently, writing and producing the music over the span of three months with a growing cast of friends.

Dubbing this new sound Calo Disco, a nod to Italo Disco and the California surroundings that inspire the two, George and Chris now find themselves joined by guest stars like vocalist Debbie Dynamite of Avenue D fame in creating dancefloor music with mountain-sized hooks and unsinkable optimism.

about

E Pluribus Calo Disco is a curiously uplifting slice of shimmering, red-hot dancefloor animation. These are songs you'd want to wear, if they were jackets. Songs to write letters to, to coo over and hold, keeping you warm on the cold nights and cool in the summer.

Calo Disco = Italo Disco + California beach glow + Idealist laser vision.
